Win the proposal the buyer chooses.

What does an RFP reward?

Every RFP comes with its own criteria, weightings and scale. Your proposal is read next to the others. TenderTools works from your documents, never from a generic checklist.

Take a position

Win themes and positioning for this RFP: what distinguishes your proposal from the competition, based on your own strengths or the client's question. The strategy steers every sentence that follows.

Answer the client's question

The summary, the client's objectives and the evaluation criteria with weightings and scoring scale come out of the RFP first. That is the ground your proposal stands on.

Know it will score

Every criterion is reviewed on requirements, writing, strategy and structure, and given an expected score on the same scale the evaluator will use.

From a quick proposal to the ultimate one.

Use TenderTools in many ways: fast where the criteria are light, thorough where the proposal decides the winner.

Small RFP, quick proposal

Where quality is weighted lightly, speed is what counts. Reuse documents from your library, run a small gap analysis, and turn out a solid proposal quickly.

Quality-heavy RFPs

Where the quality of the proposal is weighted at more than 80%, TenderTools helps you get to the ultimate answer.

Big team, many sources

An RFP response pulls in people and material from across the business. TenderTools processes a lot of information and context from a lot of sources, all feeding one proposal.

Overview and the nitty-gritty

Shortcuts for shortening, combining or splitting text, and win themes that link the analysis with the strategy and the measures in the proposal. Go the last mile on quality.

Write the proposal around the evaluation criteria.

Every award criterion gets its own editor: Word-like, on A4, with page and word counters.

Make it SMART or more persuasive. Align it with the wording of the RFP. Shorten, split, merge or rewrite with your own instruction.

Some text types return in every RFP: a step-by-step plan, a team description, risks and mitigations, an introduction. For those, what scores is already built in.

  • A dedicated editor per criterion, with page and word counters
  • The SCORE method for commitments: Situation, Commitments, Outcome, Rationale, Evidence
  • Built-in text types for the answers RFP teams write most
  • Your library as evidence, next to every question

Know the score before the buyer does.

The review reads every criterion the way an experienced colleague would. It uses the RFP, the analyses, the win strategy and the tone of voice. Four areas are checked. Requirements: any risk of exclusion? Writing: are the commitments SMART and readable? Strategy: does it follow your angle and set you apart? Structure: does it answer the client's question, where the evaluator will look for it?

Evaluation is done by people, and nobody can predict a score to the decimal point. The expected score is an estimate from our own model, grounded in how evaluators scored in more than 1,500 tenders.

How the score is built →

Questions, answered.

Who can read and comment while I write?+

Colleagues and external reviewers can be invited to any proposal at no cost. They read and comment without limit and never take a seat. You only pay for the people who write. In Team, you also get roles and permissions.

Can I reuse material from earlier proposals?+

Yes. The library finds passages from earlier responses, case studies and company information and puts them next to the question they belong to. As input: the response itself is written from this RFP's documents, because a proposal you could send to anyone wins no one.

How does the proposal stand out next to the competition?+

An RFP is a comparison, so good is not enough. Positioning and win themes are set before you write, based on your own strengths or the client's question. An idea filter separates what any competent bidder offers from what is genuinely distinctive.

Do I get Word files at the end?+

Every criterion exports to Word, in your house style and tone of voice. The software works in English and Dutch.

Put your next RFP through it.
